Gareth Bale nominated for the Ballon d'or + Full list of FIFA nominees


Real madrid forward, Gareth Bale, 25 who scored 22 goals for Real Madrid last season, as the La Liga side won the Champions League has been nominated for the Fifa world best player category.

Three time winner, Lionel Messi alongside fellow FCB teammate, Neymar and last year's winner Christiano Ronaldo are also in contention for the title, while Liverpool forward, Luis Suarez has been ruled out of the list due to his suspension from all football-related activity for four months for biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini.
